Meet the Herbalist
Hi, I’m Jordan, the Certified Clinical Herbalist (CCH) and Silversmith behind Silver Wing Apothecary. Raised by the waters of the Gulf Coast, much of my creative practice is imbued with the soft, blue echo of the Gulf of Mexico. With pockets full of seashells and wild rosemary, my path to plants and artistry was one guided by the landscape of imagination that is shared between the natural world and childhood.
The Story
Silver Wing Apothecary was born in the foothills of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains and shaped by relationship with the flora and fauna across the high mountain West. My path into herbalism began with my hands in the soil — curious wanderings, sitting with wildflowers, slowly wildcrafting, carefully foraging, and making medicine in close relationship with the land.
My vision for my practice was born from reciprocity, guided by the belief that the health of the body mirrors the health of the land that sustains us. Through my clinical practice, I offer holistic care that honors the living ecology of the whole person, tending both our inner and outer landscapes.
Offerings
I offer 1:1 clinical herbal consultations that begin with a 1.5 hour intake session. These sessions draw upon one's medical history, dietary patterns, lifestyle practices, and sleep patterns via intake form that is sent once the consult is booked. I recognize that each person has their own unique story and I mirror our consults and protocols to reflect this. I am currently offering telehealth/zoom sessions.
At Silverwing Apothecary we aim to build a bridge between accessibility and remembrance. Between our ancestors who had jars of remedies and fixes for this and that and the empirical nature of western medicine. We strive to create an educational platform where we can empower communities to foster well being within their bodies, their homes, and the land they are in relationship with. For the only way to spark change within the world is to first ignite the spark within ourselves. Our goal is to make holistic health care as accessible as possible to everyone within our communities.
